The 11th annual Agri-Business Banquet will take place at Clinton Country Club on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Announcer for the evening will be Jared White, Farm Broadcaster with WHOW / WEZC Radio. The schedule for the event will be: Check-in and Social Hour 5:00pm, Dinner at 6:00pm, and Program Speaker at 7:00pm.
The speaker will be Eric Snodgrass, Director of Undergraduate Studies Department of Atmospheric Sciences University of Illinois. He also is the co-founder of Global Weather and Climate Logistics, LLC, which recently merged with Agrible Inc., a precision farm management and predictive analytics company.
Mr. Snodgrass has been interviewed for several ag publications, including the Illinois AgriNews, Farm Journal and Prairie Farmer, and has been a featured speaker at a number of top agribusiness conferences. At the Banquet, Snodgrass will provide attendees with real-time insight into expected weather patterns, historical data and 2018 global production. Like every good businessman or woman, farmers know being prepared for “what’s next” can mean the difference between profit and loss.
Snodgrass’ humor and ability to relate with audiences while “geeking out on the weather” keeps them interested and engaged, offering the best information possible to manage livestock and grain farms.
