An impressive high school facility and sports complex is located near Van Buren Street shopping. Richland Community College, with its campus in nearby Decatur, has an extension in Clinton. Several exceptional colleges and universities are as near Decatur, Bloomington/Normal, Lincoln, Springfield, and Champaign/Urbana.

	The Dr. John Warner Hospital, located at 422 West White Street, assures residents of quick, professional medical care when required. Our Mission Statement "...committed to personal, compassionate care for you, our friends, and neighbors." The hospital currently has more than 150 employees, making it one of the major employers in DeWitt County.
	A mayor/council form of government, with professional city staff, effectively serves the community and encourages economic development and new home construction.
